KIDNAPPING CASE

A message Irom Allen, Oklahoma, says that three armed bandits, Peter Rexler, Fred Tindol and Charlie Chapman, who escaped from a Texas prison on July 8, kidnapped Mr Baird Markham, jtinr., aged 21 the son of a wealthy oil man, from the wells where he was working when on vacation from Yale. He was forced into a stolen motor-car and held as a hostage, but later was released unharmed. Posses of police are guarding and searching the roads throughout the State.
