Conflicting views on day-light saving were expressed at the annual conference of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union at Wellington yesterday. It was decided to recommend that the period of day-light saving should be from the first Sunday in November till the first Sunday in March. A remit to the effect- that daylight saving of half an hour should be continued throughout the year was rejected.
