FRENCH FEARS.
GUNS NEAR SPANISH FRONTIER. Received July 17, 1.26 p.m. PARIS, July 16. Following the expression of fears that guns are threatening Gibraltar, well-informed persons in Paris declare that similar conditions exist m northwest Spain, where guns could fire across a large area of French territory. It is alleged that the Germans have built fortifications and gun platforms in General Franco’s territory on the top of the Pyrenees. The cable referred to appears on page
