A big new hotel is to be built only a few yards from the Liverpool landing stage at a cost of about £500,000. It will be built in Dale Street, and will be in the centre of the city’s business area. Between two and three hundred men will be employed in building the hotel, which is expected to be completed by the summer, of 1938.
