(From Our Own Correspondent.) KELVIN GROVE, Juno 4. There was a good attendance) at the fortnightly euchre party. The ladies’ first prize was uon by .Mrs Harvey, while .Mr Sharp won the men’s first prize. The winners of ihc consolation prizes were Mrs Aitwood and All- .15. Gardiner. Dancing was enjoyed. The local euchre eplhn-iasifi who journeyed to Ashhurst to play for the shield were suecoss'id in gaining their objective. The friends of Airs L. Buchanan will he pleased to Irani that, she lias improved ■sufficiently to he moved from :hc Hospital to a rent home.
