WEDDING.
NOBLE—CAVE. A picturesque wedding was celebrated, early on Saturday evening, at the Methodist Church, Foilding, by Bov. F. H. Allen, tho contracting parties being Olive, third daughter of Dir and Mrs J. Cave, lvniranga, and Kenneth Edgar, third son ol Mr and Mrs J. Noble, King Street, Feilding. Entering tho church on the arm of her father, the brido looked charming in ‘her bridal robe of ivory- lace find tulle. A cowl neck-line, and a tulle cape adorned tho bodice of the frock, while tiny buttons from wrist to elbow adorned the sleeves, Goilets of frilled tulle were inset in the skirt just below the knees, and fell gracefully into a Jong train. A halo of waxed flowers held the heavily embroidered tulle veil in place. Dainty satin slippers and a bouquet of azaleas, cyclamen, freesias, and chrysanthemums completed a very dainty toilette.
Miss K. Smith (Palmerston North) and Miss P. Swift (Apiti) attended the brido as bridesmaids, and were l'rockcd alike in ivory oire spot taffeta made on semi-Victorian lines and flowing into slight trains. Bod sandals were worn, and silver flowers and red leaves comprised their semi-haloes, while they- carried shower bouquets of white chrysanthemums, snowdrops and scarlet cyclamen, intermingled with maidenhair loin. Dir L. Hayden was best man and Mr Walter Stevenson groomsman. Dir and Mrs Cave later entertained their many guests at a reception. Taking pride of place on the breakfast table was the handsome three-tiered wedding cake. Subsequently, when Mr and Mrs K. Noble set out on their honeymoon, the bride was wearing a very smart black tailored costume and felt- toque, with an eye-veil.
