CHRISTIAN SCIENCE CHURCHES.
“God The Only Cause and Creator” was the subject of the Lesson-Sermon in all Churches of Christ, Scientist, on Sunday. The Golden Text was Genesis 1: 1: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Among the citations which comprised the Lesson-Sermon were the following from the Bible: “The Lord hath brought forth our righteousness ; come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the Lord our God. He hath made the earth hv His. power, He hath established the world by His wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by His understading.” (Jer. 51: 10, 5.) Also the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures,” by Mary Baker Eddy: “There is but one Creator and ono creation. Infinite Mind is the creator, and creation is the infinite image or idea emanating from this Mind. If Mind is within and without all tilings, then all is Mind; and this definition is scientific.” (pp. 502, 250).
