SOUTHERN RHODESIA’S BELIEF. TRUST IN BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) Received June 7, 11.55 a.m. RUGBY, June 5. Speaking at a dinner in his honour, Air Huggins, Prime Minister of Southern Rhodesia, said there was no necessity for the representatives of Southern Rhodesia to discuss such matters as Imperial defence. They had such faith in" the democracy of this country that they were convinced that the British Government would never be allowed to go to war for a cause that Rhodesia could not wholeheartedly subscribe to.
