STRUCK BY A ROCK.
FATiLITY AT GISBORNE. Per Press Association. GISBORNE, June 5. The death has occurred in hospital of Mr Charles August Evans, from injuries received on “Wednesday when he was struck on the head by a falling rock when road cutting. The deceased, who was a native of Germany, came to New Zealand in 1904 and since 1910 had been farming at Otoko.
