UNCONSCIOUS IN GARAGE.
MAN LATER DIES. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 4. Unsuccessful efforts were made to revive Mr H. Beckett, a well-known resident of Howick, when he was found unconscious in his garage. Mr Beckett, who was a retired fanner living at Shelly Park, Howick. was discovered by liis family when they returned home from a visit to Auckland about 5 o’clock. The engine of deceased’s car was running and the dcors of the garage were only partially opened. Until" vile arrival of Dr. Armstrong, Otahuhn. artificial respiration was applied by Mr Beckett’s son, but without avail". Further efforts on the part of the doctor also proved unsuccessful. " Mi' Beckett, who was aged 04, was a well-known bowler.
