KING’S BIRTHDAY DANCE.
The ICia Toa Football Club’s dance held annually on the King’s Birthday in the De Luxe Hall, is always one of the highlights of the dancing season. Last year over 700 dancers attended and indications are that this year’s event will break all records for attendance. Hie dance committee has always endeavoured to create an atmosphere of gaiety at this function and it is this feature of the dance that is largely responsible for its wide popularity in the district. Old and new patrons will find that the programme will provide an evening as enjoyable as ever. Owing, of course, to events that are now well-known the King’s Birthday holiday is to bo celebrated on June 9 next Wednesday. Remember the date for this popular dance.
