ENGLAND TO DURBAN.
NEW FLYING-BOAT SERVICE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 2. Imperial Airways new flying-boat service between England and South Africa was inaugurated to-day from Southampton by the Canopus, which left the temporary air base at 10 a.m. The craft carried passengers ana about a ton of mail.
The flying-boats will operate with Durban as the terminus and will cover 8000 miles in six and a-half days. In future they will leave Southampton twice weekly.
