MUNICIPAL BAND.
A meeting of the Municipal Band carnival committee was held last evening. Air P. P. Stevens was elected chairman, and Air and Airs P. G. Guy were appointed joint secretaries (pro tern). The committee consists of the following : —Alensirs AV. G. Clayton, A. AVoods, Bould, Eeakins, O. Sporle, S. Ale Call, S. Alenzies. AV. .Stevenson, A. Sporle. Alesdames Brandt. Stringer, ’• r itv "i'Mry tV. AVilkinson, G. AVilkinson, Eeakins, O. Jones, and . . hi ana -..'porle, with power to add. ATtrious metuis; of raising funds were decided upon, such as a street stall, community sing and a card tournament.
