The Ping Pong Club held a meeting recently, when there were .present Messrs p. Koehler (chairman), E. Ilornibrook, E. Esplin, B-. Millar, M. Johanson, D. James, W. Hoskins. P. C'ater, R. Lacey, and II Croucher. Messrs Esplin and K. Woodd' were elected to the committee, the former taking the position of secretary and treasurer. Any player who breaks a ball away from the table is to pay fourpence. It was dadded that only Wednesday nights be used as practice nights, and not to affiliate with the Manawatu Lawn Tennis Association this year. The secretary was authorised to buy half a dozen ping-pong balls and three bats. Messrs Lacey, Esplin and KcVer were thanked for donations.

Mr and Mrs A. Lancaster are visitors to the district from Korakanui-.
