The letter stated that Wanganui had been allowed to follow Manawatu some few years ago, when changing from an autumn show to a spring show, conditionally on Wan ganui promising to provide a iull schedule of classes of stock. It was stated that this had not been done and as a result exhibitors in some classes, including pigs, had to wait 14 days between the Manawatu and Egmont Shows and this often resulted in a loss of entries for the Egmont and Stratford Shows. Mr McCay stated that he had endeavoured to convene a meeting ot the three associations concerned to be held earlier that morning, but without success. Wanganui had been asked to send a representative to this annual meeting, bub had not done so.
