SAFE BLOWN OPEN.
£3O STOLEN AT THAMES. Per Press Association. THAMES, June 3. Thieves broke into the Kerepehi store, owned by Mr A. P. lnnes, some time last evening or this morning, and used an explosive on the safe, escaping with a sum of more than £3O. Entrance was gained by the side wdndows and sacks of chaff were used to deaden the sound of the qxplosion, which wrecked the small safe and- the office. The intruders left the-'store by the front, leaving the door open. It is understood that a man living near, when going home late, saw a car parked near the shop.
