(From Our Own Correspondent.) FOXTON, Juno 2. The vital statistics for Alay, with Ibo figures for the corresponding period last year in parentheses arc:—Births, 4 (10); deaths, 1 (1); marriages, 5 (4). Alaons: Births, 2 (1); deaths, nil (nil). Mrs W. Hamer, of Main Street, is confined to her home with indisposition. Mrs S. I. Walden, who has been spending a holiday in Napier, returned to Foxton today. During May rain fell locally on 17 days, a total of 3.1.5 indies being recorded, tho maximum daily fall being .5 inches on the Ist.
