RONGOTEA.
(From Our o\\-n Correspondent.) RONGOTEA, June 1. The Rongotca B basketball team-played Kopane at Rongotea on Monday-. The game was quite fast in patches, and- it was soon seen that the Kopane centres were superior:, Although the Rongotea goalies were)) not up to' their usual standard, they managed to make the scoreboard read. at half-time, Kopane 10, Rongotea 7. In ,the second half the visitors drew away from the homo team and the concluding score was Kopane 17, Rongotea 11. The" match was refereed by Mr A. C. Eadcs. Miss A. Fraser was forced to leave the field, because of a ricked ankle.
