KITCHEN EVENING.
Miss Evelyn Robertson, whose marriage takes place shortly, was the guest of honour at a kitchen evening' held at the home of Mrs E. Dyer, Victoria Avenue, on Monday. A happy time was spent with games. Among those present were: Mesdames E. Dyer, A. G. Stuart, A. Main, T. York, R. Hoare, Misses L. Read, D. Wallace, T. Olsen, D. Stuart, J. Bishop, M. Hoare, R. Smeaton, G. Foster, Messrs E. Dyer, R. Wallace, H. Tongs, P. Wallace, D. York, D. Teague, h. Wallace and H. Hoare. Supper was served, after which Miss Kobertson was called upon to open the numerous parcels, which contained many useful articles and messages of good wishes for the future. Mr H. Hoare replied on behalf' of Miss Robertson.
