HOKOWHITU SCHOOL.
LADIES’ COMMITTEE. The monthly meeting of the Hokowh.itu School Ladies’ Committee was held on Tuesday evening, when Mrs Harrod presided, others present being Mesdames Ayson, Bloomfield, Cox, Davies, Fleck, Holmes, Larsen, Melbye, Tiddy and Crowther (secretary). l<inal arrangements were made lor the coming jumble sale and for the first of a series of euchre card tournaments. Thanks were expressed to Mr Bloomfield for. a donation of three bags of coal for prizes. After the business had been transacted in connection with tlie children’s ball, to be held next month, the meeting closed.
