YESTERDAY’S BUSINESS AND PRICES.
Brisk trading on tho Wellington Stock Exchange yesterday provided a substantial turnover, sales recorded covering 35 parcels totalling 4573 shares and a small lot of ClaTovninerit stock. New Zealand issues comprised the bulk of tho business, Australians being somewhat neglected. Breweries word active, but Staples were a shade easier. Gear Meat wore weak at 16s. and New Zealand Refrigerating sold unchanged at 19s. National Insurance were lower at 16s 9ad. Dunlop-Perdriau moved up to 22s Id, and there were unsatisfied buyers later at 22s 3d. Broken I-lill Proprietary fell away to 80s IOJd. YESTERDAY’S QUOTATIONS.
