(From Our Own Correspondent.) LINTON, Juno 1. Another successful caul evening was held by the Anglican Church Committee, when tlie winners of the euchre were Mr J. Iliglit and Mrs Wish. : Miss Auiidry RusseA left on Monday for Wanganui. Mrs T. Dunshea is visiting Auckland. Mrs Waterson is away on holiday. Miss P. Hogan is the guest of Mr and Mrs Moyes. Mrs E. Sharp, ot tilling ton,. is vis ting Linton. Mr and Mrs M. Rix have returned from the South Island. Mr and Mrs J. Craw and family are the guests of Mr and Mrs Jos. Batclielar. Mr W. Knipe, of Swanson, is renewing old acquaintances in Linton for a few days.
