THIEVES ENTER STORE.
Per Press Association. WHAKATANE, May 31. On Saturday night the general store of William McCormack at Wamiana wa senterecl by thieves who forced the back door. The safe was removed to a nearby paddock and blown open with gelignite ,the sum of £8 being taken. Tho gelignite was apparently obtained from a county council tool depot, which was also broken into.
