(From Our Own Correspondent.) STANWAY. June 1. The euchre tourneys in aid of hall funds were brought forward a game on Saturday evening, there being a large attendance. Miss Ngaire Old won the Indies’ prize, while Mr A. Green won tlie men’s. The consolation prizes were awarded Miss J. Rosser and Mr R. Cockburn. Miss Gwen Parsons lias returned after visiting Ohakea. Sympathy is felt for Mr and Mrs Lcet in the death of Miss Leet, who was a pupil of the Hamilton High School.
