BUSINESS GIRLS’ CLUB
KITCHEN EVENING HELD. Miss Joyce O’Neil, who is shortly to be married, was entertained at a kitchen evening in the Orient Hall, last night, by members of the Business Girls’ Club. Mesdames A. E. Hansford, M. Aitcliison. F. J. Nathan, H. Palmer, M. Cooksley and Day were present at the function, also Mrs G. H. O’Neil and Mrs A. K. Bryant, who were visitors. The hostesses responsible for the arrangements were Misses J. Spiliiian, J. Johnson, E. Howard, K. Sherlock,' J. Finlay, R. Liddell, IV. McCowan, L. McCowan, C. Clark and Z. King. The hostesses were also the principal performers in a novel broadcast programme featuring the Russian ballet, a sketch, “The Coronation,” and radio personalities. Miss J. Finlay entertained with violin solos, and Miss M. Lynch with vocal solos, Miss Z. King being the accompaniste. In calling upon Miss O’Neil to open the large array of gifts, Airs Alansford extended to her very best wishes for the future on behalf of the club. Aliss O’Neil briefly returned thanks.
