THE HYDERABAD
NOT TO BE BROKEN UP. (From Our Own Correspondent.) . . FOXTON. May 31. Mr C. L. Hunter, M.P., has informed the Foxton Chamber of Commerce that the men concerned are not going on with the cutting up of the Hyderabad wreck at the present time, and that they have shipped their gear from the bench. “There was absolutely no necessity for all the hue and cry over the Hyderabad,” said Mr Hunter. “Had the Waitarere Domain Board got in touch with the men concerned in the first instance there would have been no trouble. Personally, I had no fear right from the first that the wreck would be disposed of. The job is too big.”
