HERR HITLER ALARMED.
PROTEST FROAI INDUSTRY. FEARS FOR THE FUTURE. Received June 1, 10.40 a. lll. LONDON, May 31. The Daily Herald’s Prague correspondent says: “Herr Hitler is alarmed by a secret memorandum from German industrial leaders expressing dissatisfaction with the present conditions and grave fears for the future. The memorandum, which urges' the reduction of taxes and a more conciliatory foreign policy, declares: ‘At least 50 per cent, of Germans are living on money derived directly or indirectly from the Government. Self-sufficiency with regard to foodstuffs lias not been achieved. We consider that life in Germany can only be restored to normal by a big foreign loan, possibly from the United States.’ ”
