ATTACKS ON CHURCH.
BY NAZI PRESS. Received April 30, 11.30 a.m. BERLIN, April 29. A concerted Press attack on the Catholic Church is interpreted to mean a renewal of tho campaign against the Church. Inflammatory headlines, for example tho Volkischer Beobachter’s “Churches and Monasteries Debased to Haunts of Depravity,” introduce stories announcing that over a thousand priests or members of Catholic orders are in prison awaiting trial. The newspapers add: It is not a question of individual cases, but the whole system, which is corrupt.
