John Rorke, the 8.8. C. performer who interjected “.Mrs Simpson” during a broadcast in which an allusion was made to “sex appeal,” is to lose five weeks’ salary in consequence. He will not he heard again in 8.8. - -performances before St. Patrick’s Day. “It was ‘Mrs Gibson’ 1 intended to say,” remarked Mr Rorke. “It’s impossible to explain how 1 came to slip in ‘Simp6on.’ I’ll take my punishment, which I consider most lenient, with resignation.”
Air Rorke Jias been broadcasting for 13 years.
