MOUNTAIN TRAGEDY.
CLIMBERS STILL OUT. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, March 29. No advice was received from Lake Ohau station or Omarama tp-day of the return of the party which is bringing out the bodies of Messrs S. D. Divers G. M. Edwards and R. Stevenson, the three victims of the alpine tragedy on Mount Trent on Saturday. The progress of the party owing to the nature of the country must necessarily be slow, and in the opinion of experienced alpinists two days will be occupied in carrying the bodies from the climbers’ last camp to the point at which they left the motor cars in which they travelled from Tvurow. It is believed that the party will reach Lake Ohau to-morrow.
