Mrs J. Hamlin, of Newbury, is I visiting Auckland. | Mrs AV. A'. Morey, of AVaitara, is spending Easter in Palmerston North. Mrs 1. P. Grant, of Inglewood, spent Easter in'Palmerston North and AVelHngton. Miss Judy Christian has returned to Palmerston North after a holiday spent in Christchurch as the guest of Mr and Mrs E. J. AVilliams. Mrs M. C. Berquist, of Palmerston North, is visiting Auckland. Miss A. Murray, of Palmerston North, and Miss H. Liston, of Marton, are in Auckland. Miss Kathleen Scotter, general secretary of the New Plymouth Y.AV.Y.M.C.A., visited her parents, Rev. A. N. Scotter and Mrs Scotter, of Palmerston North, for Easter, and she returned last night. Prior to her departure on holiday to Australia, Miss Muriel AVilson was entertained at a supper party in the lounge of the Regent Theatre by members of the staffs of the picture theatres of Palmerston North Amusements, Ltd. Best wishes for a happy holiday and a safe return were conveyed to Miss AVilson, on behalf of those present by Messrs G. Jardine and T. Craigie. Miss A\ 7 dson, who is cashier at the Regent Theatre, returned thanks.
