TIDEWAITER PURCHASED BY' MR C. W. BOYD. Tn order to dissolve a partnership. King Rey was offered for sale at the Auckland Racing Chib’s stables, Ellerslie. Bidding reached 625gns, at which figure he was passed in. Sir Mount, a yearling colt by Surveyor from Cometary, a brother to Surview, was passed in at llOgns. Tidcwaiter was also offered and was passed at 50gns, but he was subsequently sold privately to Mr C. W. Boyd, of Palmerston North. Tidcwaiter and Sir .Mount will in future be trained by G. W. New at Awapuni.
