MARIST OLD BOYS.
ASSOCIATION’S ANNUAL MEETING The annual meeting of the Marist Old Boys’ Football Association was held on Sunday night, Mr J. J. O’Shea (president of St. Patrick’s Club) occupying the chair. The Auckland, Hamilton, Wanganui, Wellington Hastings, Napier, Gisborne Celtic and Marist, and St. Patrick’s Clubs were represented. The annual report was adopted and disclosed a year of progress. Archbishop O’Shea was elected patron, Rev. Brother Benignus president, and Air P. Kelly president of the Hamilton Club, which will control the next tournament, Hamilton being chosen as the venue. The following vice-presidents were elected:—Messrs M. J. Moodahe (Auckland), O. McDonald (Wanganui), T. E. Davidson (Palmerston North), H. Cumings (Wellington), P. J. Mahoney (Napier), E. T. Brosnahan (Gisborne Celtic), J. Martin (Gisborne Marist), and Rev. Father McDonald (Hastings). The Hastings Celtic Club were unanimously granted affiliation with the association.
