SKATING
The management of 01ympia_ Amusements, with the co-operation of the A. and P. Association, has gone to considerable effort and expense to improve the skating rink hall at the Showgrounds for the benefit of patrons who attended the previous season, and also those who desire to take up this exhilarating and fascinating sport this season, commencing on March 31. The main attractions this year will bo the band in attendance; the beautiful mountain scenery which surrounds the ramp, over which one feels the sensation of going up and down-lull , the coloured floodlights, and introchicing for the first time in Palmerston North the “Bobbers’ Waltz.” Special tuition by attendants will be given to patrons on Monday nights for the sole pur r f > of improving those who can skate and teaching those who cannot skate. A special session on Saturday mornings should be well attended by children and adults.
