VOYAGES PAST SPAIN.
DANGER AVOIDED. The cabled report tiiat vessels ol the Orient Line and the P. and O. Line were not proceeding beyond Marseilles, owing to the laying ot mines in Spanish waters, is contradicted in information received by the Unon Steam Ship Company from the agents of the lines in Sydney. The Sydney agents state that the only modification in the P. and O. and Orient companies’ normal itineraries is that vessels pass to tlie east of the Balearic Isles when en route between Gibraltar and French Mediterranean ports.
