SHANGHAI INCIDENT.

SOLDIERS INVOLVED. Received February 24, 9.30 a.m. SHANGHAI, Feb. 23. Four men from the ranks of the North Lancs Regiment were injured in a dance hall fight with Italian ratings from the cruiser Lepantj, whose personnel were concerned in the recent cinema incident.

The combatants used lead piping, weighted clubs, chairs, and bottles. The dispute involved forty on each side, and the military police separated them.

A number of Italians were injured.
