In connection with the Manawatu Bowling Centre’s visit to AVanganui on Wednesday, the Feilding Bowling Club will be represented by one rink. The club’s annual gala day will be held early next month. Forty-eight passengers from Feilding left on Sunday on the excursion train for AVellington. A special stock train left Marton in the evening conveying 50 trucks of lambs to freezing works near AA’ellington. Twenty-seven of the trucks were loaded at Feilding. The prize winners at the euchre tournament conducted by the Foresters’ Lodge on Saturday were Miss V. Smith 1, Miss E. Foote and Mrs J. Edhouse 2; Messrs Cameron 1, Edhouse and Prendergast 2, Mr AA r . Monk and partner won the Monte Carlo waltz. Mr AV. Towler was M.C.
