DAMAGES AWARDED.

SEQUEL TO ACCIDENT. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 22. Facial injuries to an 11-year-okl girl who was previously outstandingly pretty and for whom a successful stage career was predicted resulted in a Supreme Court action before a jury today. Plaintiff was Marie Meldon Hall, daughter of Dr Robinson E. Hall, who claimed £69 Is 6d special damages and £IOOO general damages. Defendant, Peter Daysh Daveyf admitted liability for the special damages and the jury awarded plaintiff £SOO general damages. . The accident from which the claim arose took place on November 13, 1935, when defendant, on a motor-cycle, collided with a bicycle ridden I®' the girl.
