MIGRATION AND POPULATION
Arrangements have been completed by the Palmerston North 50,000 Club for Hon. W. E. Barnard, Speaker of tho House of Representatives, to address a meeting in the Municipal Hall, on Wednesday next, his subject being “Migration and Population.” Quite apart from the very great importance of the subject—and it is creating considerable discussion all over New Zealand at the present time—it is felt that the citizens will bo pleased to have the opportunity of welcoming Mr Barnard to hid first public meeting in Palmerston North. In the absence of tho Mayor, Cr. G. Tremaine, deputy-Mayor, will preside, and everyone will be welcome.
