BROMWICH’S FINE WIN. SYDNEY, Jan. 28. Australian tennis championships semi-finals resulted: Mens singles.—Bromwich beat Crawford, 6 —l, 7 —9, 6 —4, 8— 6; McGrath beat Hopman, 6—4, 6 —l. 7 —5. In a spectacular match lasting two hours and a-quarter, young Bromwich triumphed over the Davis Cup player, Crawiord, owing to his consistency and better condition. Crawford was extremely tired at the finish. Bromwich displayed a great fighting spirit and hau the crowd on tip-toes. Blick, 6 —4, 6 —3. PERRY AGAIN BEATEN. CHARLOTTE (North Carolina), Jan. 28. H. Ellsworth Vines beat F. J. Perry, 3 —6, 6 —l, 6—4, to-day. .
