WOMEN’S DIVISION.

(From Our Own Correspondent) APITI, Dec. 9. The monrTly meeting of the local branch of the Women's Division was held yesterday afternoon. Airs A. R. AlcN no presided. The Creed was rend by Airs Prujean. A beautiiully dressed baby doll for competition, and donated by Alls M. S. Osborne, was on view. The clothes are exquisitely made, and each garment can be taken off, even to the tiny bootees. Instead of the usual meeting in January it was decided to hold a picnic in the Domain, with games and competitions for the children. It is particularly hoped that members of the Farmers’ Union (local branch) will combine and help the ladies to entertain the young people. The results of the doll competition will be made known at this gathering. It was decided that Aliss Paterson (lion, secretary and treasurer) should he sole trustee for the local branch funds. Hostesses were Alesdames A. E. Prujean and T. Nix.
