PENALTY FOR FALSE NEWS
Received December 9, 1.50 p.m. PARIS. Dec. 8. The Chamber of Deputies to-day passed a Bill imposing drastic penalties on newspapers for the publication of false news, with a new clause providing for imprisonment for maligning foreign politicians.
