SCOTTISH INGLESIDE.

The Afanawatu Scottish Society, last evening, brought to a close its dancing season. Tlie Cosmopolitan Hall was the venue of the gathering and was more than comfortably filled. The Pipe Bnnd paraded early in the evening and proceeded to the hall, where, during the supper interval, it p’ayed selections, one of the tunes being “Alallorca,” a slow air. which was composed by our present King when he was Prince of AA’ales. Air F. J. Duckworth was M.C., and lie excelled himself in that capacity. An old-time orchestra rendered music for the patrons, who were treated to an excellent, floor. Sunner was served, after which Air Paul nlayed the piano for an extra dance. Piper CriicVn accompanied Noln Cooper and Yvonne Nicholson when they danced the soentriubhas and Highland fh’ng. The Afonte Carlo waltz winners were Miss Murphy and Air Nicholson.
