SELF-SUFFICIENCY PLAN. BERLIN, Dec. 8. Herr Vetter, president ol the Animal Breeding Association, has announced an intensive programme to make Germany selt-sufficient under a tour-yeai plan. Hens must be bettor led to increase the supply of eggs, rabbits must increase tncir litters, mulberry trees are to be planted to feed silkworms, 700,(XX) swarms of bees aie .to bo added to the present stock, special clover being grown for them, and a million goats will be added to increase the milk supply.
