LAST WEEK’S BUSINESS AND PRICES. An outstanding feature of the Wellington market yesterday was the active run on G. J. Coles, which were exceedingly strong. Ten parcels totalling 990 shares were recorded as sold at prices ranging from 80s up to 91s, a, further gain of 2s. Woolworths Ltd. wore also fairly active, sales being made at from £7 13s to £7 14s. Some interest was also shown in Broken Hill Proprietary, which recovered to 80s 3d. Buyers were in at the close at 80s Gd and 07s Gd was offered for tho contributing issue, but there was no response from holders. o"ier sections of the market were dull, quotations showing little change.
