(Prom Our Own Correspondent.) KONGO! EA, Dec. 9. Mr William Poole, 91 yeais, December 9, 1936. —It is placed on record that, the wiso man said that the days ot our years arcs three score years and ten, but by reason of strength they may he lour score. But we have in Kongotea ono of the exceptions, one of those virile settlors in the person ul Mr William Boole, who to-day attained the ripe age of 91 years. During the latter part of Ins life he has been resident here, making a home with his daughter, Airs \Y. Amies. And he still enjoys a reasonable measure ot health and strength. Each day when the weather permits he is to he found in the garden, which is to him a never failing source of interest. Air Poole was horn in Manchester, England, and came to New Zealand when 20 years of ago, and has decided in this country since, with the exception of a year spent in Western Australia. Gongratulations are extended to Air Poole and the members of Jiis family.
