OBITUARY.
MRS W. C. SIMPSON. Deep sympathy will be felt with the relatives of Mrs AYiihelmina Christina Simpson, whose death occurred yesterday morning. Airs Simpson had been ill for a period extending over several years, and lor the past three months her condition had been serious. _ Mrs Simpson was born at Kaitangata, Otago, in 1878, and there spent her life with her parents, Air and Airs Smith, until her marriage to the late Air George Simpson. After residing successively in Christchurch and Alasterton, Air and Airs Simpson settled in Palmerston North almost 19 years ago, making their home m Roy Street. Airs Simpson’s husband predeceased her exactly three years ago, but with her family she remained in Palmerston North until last year, when ill-health made it necessary for her to give up her home. Afcinbers of the family who mourned the loss of a devoted mother are Air Allan G. N. Simpson, of the Post and Telegraph Department; Air J. AY. Simpson, of the Public Trust Office, Palmerston North ; Air F. A. Simpson, of Auckland; Air A. E. Simpson, of Wellington; and Aliss AI. Al. Simpson, of Palmerston North.
