IRISH GIRLS.
FOR CONVENTS IN AUSTRALIA. Fifty-throe Irish girls, who intend to become postulants in convents in Australia, were said farewell to at Kingston by a big crowd of relatives from many districts in the south of Ireland, says a London cable. Of this number, 38 are bound for All Hallow s Convent, Brisbane, seven for St. Joseph’s Convent, Sydney, three for the Convent of Mercy, Herberton, and two for the Convent of Mercy, Perth.
