GERMAN NAVY.
Received December 9. 8.5 a.m. BERLIN, Dec. 8. The second 26,000-ton battleship was launched at Kiel and christened Gneisenau by Frau Merkel, widow of the commander of the former Gneisenau, which was sunk in the Battle of the Falklands. A number of survivors attended.
