BLOMFIELD BEATS SAVOLDI.

Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Dec. 7. The wrestling match between "Lofty" Blomfield and Joe Savoldi tonight came to an unexpectedly early finish, Blomfield winning by two falls to one after half-an-hour in the ring. Although the crowd took it all goodlinmotiredly there must have been much disappointment over the dramatic suddenness with which the contest ended. Savoldi took a fall early in the third round. Blomfield retaliated at the beginning of the fourth round and secured the winning fall early in the fifth. Three falls in 4 minutes 39 seconds was the record established.
